Activities: The tour includes a guided educational hayride through our decorated fruit and vegetable fields, an inside peak at a working bee hive, a produce washer demonstration, a walk through the produce cooler, and seasonal vegetable lecture. Each guided tour lasts approximately 1 hour. Allow extra time for children to have goodies and enjoy our on-your-own activities like the cornstalk maze and play area. Goodies: Each child will receive
an apple, sample of cider, and a 3-5 pound pumpkin as a souvenir!!!
The teacher will receive an informational packet compliments of Trax
Farms. Fees: To help defray costs, there is a $6.00 charge per child and a $6.00 charge per adult. Please collect all money in advance and make one payment for the entire group. Two free teachers per group of 35. Reservations: Tours are by reservation only! To schedule a tour, please go to the index page of our website www.traxfarms.com and click on the Fall Tour Tab, fill out ALL information and hit submit, it is that easy! You will be sent an email confirmation unless there is a problem, then we will call you. Our tours are scheduled hourly, 4 groups per hour. When scheduling, we will need an approximate count of children and adults please make sure you put the numbers on the form, if your group is over 35 it will have to be divided and scheduled as two groups (35 people per hayride). If for any reason, you are 15 minutes or more late, your tour guide may determine that parts of your tour need to be eliminated. We welcome any groups planning to stay through lunch. However, you must notify us when scheduling your tour so that we can allocate space for your group! Cancellations: Should you need to cancel your tour… At least a 48-hour cancellation notice is required by email at jmontenaro@traxfarms.com. Without this notice, a $50.00 cancellation fee will be billed to your organization. Dress Attire: Play clothes will be fine. Please dress according to the weather. October can be unseasonably chilly and coats, hats, and gloves may be needed.

9:30 a.m.to 2:30 p.m. Please ask if you need another time.The scenic
hayride is approximatley 25 minutes long and winds through our fruit
and vegetable fields. Sorry, the hayride wagons are not wheelchair accessible.
After the hayride enjoy listening to a brief history of Trax Farms.
Boxed lunches can be purchased through our deli. Please order boxed
